Is Craniosacral Therapy Right for You?

Light Touch CST supports women at every stage of life and infants navigating their earliest transitions.

Women

Your body carries the weight of every transition you move through. The demands of daily life, the shifts that come with major life events, the chronic tension that builds when stress goes unaddressed for too long. Craniosacral therapy offers a space to set that weight down.

This work supports women at every stage of life. You do not need to be pregnant, postpartum, or in any particular season to benefit. If your nervous system is overwhelmed, your body is holding tension it cannot release on its own, or you simply want to feel more at ease in your daily life, this work may be for you.

Pregnancy & Postpartum

Pregnancy asks a great deal of your body. Postpartum asks even more. CST offers gentle support through both, helping your nervous system find rest and your body find ease during one of the most demanding transitions of your life.

CST during pregnancy and postpartum may help with:

  • Pelvic pain, back pain, and hip tension

  • Anxiety around labor, birth, or recovery

  • Poor sleep and feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated

  • Difficulty relaxing or feeling settled in your body

  • Postpartum tension, emotional heaviness, or difficulty bonding

Midlife, Perimenopause & Menopause

The hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause affect your entire nervous system, not just your hormones. Many women find that conventional medicine addresses some of what they are experiencing but leaves a great deal unacknowledged. CST meets you where conventional care often does not.

CST during midlife transition may help with:

  • Chronic tension, headaches, and jaw clenching

  • Disrupted sleep and fatigue

  • Anxiety, mood instability, and feeling disconnected from your body

  • A sense of loss of control over how your body feels and functions

  • The desire for gentle, non-pharmaceutical support

Infants

When a baby is struggling, parents move fast to find answers. If your infant is dealing with feeding difficulty, colic, poor sleep, or the effects of a difficult birth, and you have not found satisfying answers through conventional care, CST may help.

Nancy works with infants from birth through the pre-crawling stage. Her sessions are gentle, unhurried, and responsive to your baby's cues throughout.

CST for infants may help with:

  • Feeding difficulty and latch problems

  • Colic and inconsolable crying

  • Digestive discomfort

  • Poor sleep and difficulty settling

  • Torticollis and neck tension

  • Plagiocephaly (flat head)

  • Birth trauma recovery after long labor, vacuum, forceps, or C-section delivery

Complementary Care

CST works well alongside other forms of treatment. If you are already working with a physical therapist, chiropractor, counselor, or physician, CST can support your nervous system through that process without interfering with your existing care.

Nancy positions herself as a collaborative member of your care team, not a replacement for any part of it. She is happy to communicate with other providers when that serves your healing.

Other Concerns

You don’t need to be in a specific life stage to benefit from this work. CST supports women managing a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Chronic pain and tension

  • Stress, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Fatigue and disrupted sleep

  • Post-trauma recovery

  • Long COVID and post-illness fatigue

  • The general weight of a life that does not slow down
